Newsletter Issue 11
Here’s some of the content from my newsletter Issue 11 you can enjoy. Here’s the link to the entire newsletter should you want to read it. And you should, you’ve come this far. :)
Starting at the end:
Back in February, I photographed, wrote, created, and published the section A. further down. I am reposting it because it exists in symbiosis with the video right here. It is bookending a session in a very special way where you get to see the final result and a sort of BTS style video (not the K-pop group although that would be hilarious).
Just so we're clear... BTS: Behind The Scenes.
"Get on with it" you say? Boy am I glad you're this excited about the video because I was gonna show you anyway and this way it doesn't look too much like self-promotion.
Jokes aside, I take my work and what I do for my clients incredibly seriously and I really think this video represents what I want to achieve in the service of others. We have pretty much all heard about the 7 languages of love... As a photographer, my language is one of Service. I want to do this for you because I want to gift you this opportunity to build a legacy for your family.
Respond to this email. Let me know what you think... and let's book a session.
ADITL:
Not to be confused with TLDR (aka Too Long Did not Read), ADITL means A Day In The Life sessions... So because I don't want you guys to go: "ADITL...DR! (haha 😒) I'll make it quick...
Late last December, I had the absolute privilege of documenting The Ruse Family... Hands down one of the best ADITL sessions I've ever had the pleasure to photograph. I was so happy with the results... But that day, I was also working with the fantastic videographer Brett Hilton of Dis Moi Oui Films. More on that in the future, just know that I'm incredibly excited to show you what we did together.
In the meantime, here's a photofilm of the session with the family (well worth the next 5 minutes of your life):
