portraits for Jackie

This is Jackie.

she’s my friend and my associate photographer when the client wants more coverage on the day of the wedding. She’s also stunning, very photogenic, and is comfortable in front of the camera. She has a hard time with compliments. Yes, girl… you are (in case, she reads this blog).

Jackie hired me to photograph her back in December as she wanted to update her profiles, and boy did we make great photos together. We had a very similar style in mind for what we both wanted to achieve with this shoot and we created gold together. I’m very proud of all the photos we made together and it was hard to decide which ones to put on the blog.

Mostly, I wanted this sleek, modern, and yet very classic look of old Hollywood. Jackie has a natural Italian actress from the 50s going on and I wanted to make sure this came out in the photos. I chose the green and brown backdrops because she has those gorgeous dirty green eyes and it pairs really well with the blue denim and black suit she brought.

I think this was a great branding, elevated photoshoot. Let me know what you think but you’ll be wrong if you don’t like them. :P
