I bottled magic in a spark of inspiration

I don’t pose my couples unless they ask me… and I’m always willing because there’s always a cool photo to make (see below). Sometimes, inspiration strikes and you have to follow your gut… which I do… a lot.

I don’t consider myself a technical photographer but I definitely am a gut photographer. I rely a lot naturally on my sense of what a good photo will be. I am more driven by emotions than technical perfections.

Inspiration + luck = magic.

No wonder I shoot documentary wedding photography. I don’t think about creating but more about capturing what is already there. And this photo is a great memento of a the day and it involved zero planning. I asked them not to move for a couple of seconds and I let happen what was already happening around them.
